Reiki Donations from the Bodymindspirit Festival September 2010

Some of you will know about Emma Woods whose son , Nayan, was killed tragically by an out of control driver.
Emma has demonstrated true spiritual compassion by publically forgiving the young man and argued against a prison sentence for the offender. In memorial to Nayan, Emma has organised a lovely garden attached to the Linwood Play centre. We presented the cheque for $270 to Emma. The garden has a beautiful energy which was palpable and loving, a wonderful place which anyone can visit as it is never locked, despite some damage done by intruders. Emma was thrilled with the donation and was left pondering on what she would like it to be spent on, possibly a climbing frame.

Barbara Varney
Barbara Varney works to help orphanages and schools in Laos and all Reiki donations received are sent to her for distribution.
She has helped with school books, and setting up weaving and growing food (rabbits!) in the orphanages to mention a little of her endeavours. The photos show Barbara and the children's response to the educational material received.
